This past weekend Deb and Tanner came to visit us. It was great having them here, and we wish they could have stayed much longer. Here are a few highlights:
*Surviving my terrible city driving (Tanner's life flashed before his eyes more than once).
*A quick tour of Tyler's school.
*Skully and his "hat".
*Tyler and Tanner discovering the deliciousness of P.F. Chang's.
*High School Homecoming Game, Texas style.
*Homecoming mums and hundreds of cowgirl drill team members jumping into the splits.
*A couple of quick trips around the DFW airport trying to find our way home from "Pleasantville".
*Feeding the animals and watching the baby pigs eat.
*Max's first, and somewhat traumatic, carnival ride.
*Big Tex.
*Texas Star ferris wheel.
*Billy Ray Cyrus.
*Dancing dogs and pig races.
*Fried PB & B sandwiches (there were also fried lattes, fried coke, fried cookie dough, pretty much fried everything).
*The biggest pig in the world. His name was Bubba, or something like that.
*Feeding ducks and turtles.
*Tyler's favorite: Throwing a football with Tanner.

I still can't get over the mum thing. I love the picture of the girl with the mum! Looks like fun. What a huge pig!
Sounds like a fun weekend. It's probably really fun for you to have family come and visit. It would be hard to be that far away. Tanner is Huge! I love the big pig.
