Sometimes I like to spy on Tessa as she's playing by herself. Her little imagination is growing every day, and I love hearing the conversations that she has with her Calico Critters, babies, or dinosaurs. I frequently go into her room and find her dinosaurs and animals lined up across her room with a piece of food in front of each one.

Of course this more feminine play is balanced by her love of playing "superhero" or "robots" with Max.
