Before Tyler headed back to school we took the historic (as in we may have to get out and push at any moment) M-Line Streetcar and visited the Dallas Museum of Art. I haven't been to many art museums and didn't know the rules on cameras, so I only got a few of Max in the children's section. Anyway, it all felt very city-ish and fun. Plus, it was free (plus the tip for the streetcar drivers, we're not THAT cheap) so it was even better.
These really are antiques, one is from way back in 1909.
Max decided to make a rocket ship with the materials he had to choose from (cardboard, raffia, tape, mini sea shells, and pipe cleaners). Then he got the idea of putting black tape around the entire thing to make it a stealth bomber. The kid beside Max was thoroughly impressed as you can see.
