We loaded up Max and Tessa in the 4-Runner on Christmas night to go look at Christmas lights. Ty started the 4-Runner and the sound coming from our car immediately set off every car alarm in the parking lot. We figured something must be quite wrong with the car and we probably shouldn't be driving it around. The next day Tyler called a car shop and they told him it sounded like it was a problem with the catalytic converter. The guy asked Tyler what kind of car he was driving and when he heard it was a 1991 4-Runner he said that for sure it was the catalytic converter. Apparently people are stealing them from old 4-Runners and selling them at scrap yards because they have high levels of zinc and platinum (or something like that, maybe kryptonite as well). It's only a mere 550 dollars to have it fixed. Everyone told us we would be robbed sooner or later in Dallas. Nice that it was on Christmas Eve. Oh, and Tyler is going to become a car mechanic and try to fix this problem himself. We'll see how that goes. . .
(See that big space between the two pipes...that's where it used to be).

"A little overwhelmed, Elder!" Good luck fixing that one, Typhoon. Bummer.
Wow! That sucks about your 4-Runner. I hope you still had a Merry Christmas, Tessa is a cutie.
