...which is good since Tyler got into the Baylor Pediatric residency. So the next two years will be spent right here in Dallas. I've always felt like Dallas was just a temporary stop before we settled...somewhere. But six years isn't all that temporary. We're thrilled and so grateful for the way things have turned out. Baylor was Tyler's first choice, and it's an awesome program. Now he just needs to pass this fourth year...not an easy requirement here at Baylor. P.S. Last week we had temperatures in the 70s. Today's high is 19 degrees. I'm still not used to the crazy weather fluctuations that occur here (although I think this one is pretty extreme even for Dallas).
P.P.S. When they advise you to keep your faucets running to keep them from freezing you should listen. Tyler had them going last night, but before I went to bed I turned them all down to a slow drip. It just seemed like a waste of water and my semi-green conscience was nagging at me. Now the pipes to our kitchen sink are frozen, and we have no hot water anywhere. I tried to save the earth, and this is how it repaid me...

Yay! Congratulations to Tyler and family :) That's awesome that you guys don't have to move anywhere else...(but when all is said and done you should totally move to the STG)...plus water conservation is, like, way overrated, don't sweat it!
PS: my word verification is "fishie"... a little ironic...ha ha :)
Congrats on the residency! That's awesome that you got into your top pick!! :) It's been 'freezing' here in phoenix as well. We've had to drip water the last few nights....luckily no frozen pipes. Hope it gets fixed soon!
Congrats to you guys!:) Love the water experience, cold weather stinks!
So I haven't looked at my blog or anyone else's for over a year, so I'm a little behind.
First of all congrats on the residency! That's great. I was just talking to Maggie's Kindergarten teacher about who would want to be a pediatric dentist, and we were both so glad there are amazing people out there who not only can, but want to do that : ) Good for Tyler!
And congrats on baby #3! She's beautiful!!!
